Renault Trucks Master customers can now benefit from a new tailor-made, integrated telematics solution that brings the same levels of data and fleet performance as the firm’s HGV offering.
Dubbed Vantelligence and powered by Verilocation data, the solution can monitor LCV driver behaviour, track vehicles in real-time and monitor environmental performance for eco reporting.
According to Grahame Neagus, head of LCV for Renault Trucks UK and Ireland, using the Vantelligence data can typically bring about a gain in fuel efficiency of up to 9% and as well as promoting better driving through league tables on driver performance.
In addition, it can integrate with existing on-board weigh and camera systems to record and report data.
Two modules are on offer: ‘Vantelligence Control’ for vehicle tracking and mapping and the more integrated ‘Vantelligence Optimum Control’ for vehicle and driver performance.
Upgrades and tailored features can capture a range of driver and asset information including ancillary data such as temperature control and PTO activity. The reports can integrate with the whole asset, including any cranes or fridges, reporting back on the vehicle as a whole.
Neagus added: “Appealing to the fleet sector and, in tune with our truck offering, we think the launch of Renault Trucks Vantelligence system is a very exciting addition to our proposition and a key market differentiator that leads the way in integrated telematics solutions tailored to LCV fleets.”
