Introduction.
Starting in July 2024, all new cars, vans, trucks, buses, and motorhomes sold and manufactured in the European Union must have a certificate proving that they are cyber-secure, as required by the UNECE/R155 regulation.
A thorough understanding of the UNECE/R155 regulation is vital for any professional in the automotive/mobility sector. The regulation affects vehicle and component manufacturers, as well as users, fleet managers, insurers, claims adjusters, auto repair shops, body shops, converters, dealerships, and public administrations… That is why Grupo CYBENTIA has created the expert course on ‘UNECE/R155 Cybersecurity Regulations for Vehicles’.
Grupo CYBENTIA, in collaboration with EUROCYBCAR, has launched a cybersecurity training course specifically focused on the UNECE/R155 regulation, setting a new standard in education on vehicle digital security. This cybersecurity course, a pioneer in its field, provides a comprehensive overview of the automotive sector, covering the key aspects of contemporary automotive technology, the cyber risks to which users are exposed, and an in-depth analysis of the most recent cyberattacks targeting vehicles and fleets.
Particular emphasis is placed on the cybersecurity assessment procedures currently being implemented, in accordance with the requirements set forth by UNECE Regulation No. 155, which mandates that all cars, buses, trucks, motorhomes, and trailers be certified for cybersecurity, directly affecting various sectors. Vehicle and component manufacturers, dealerships, end consumers, insurers, and repair shops are among those most impacted by this regulation, which aims to raise cybersecurity standards in the industry. Through the cybersecurity course designed by Grupo CYBENTIA and EUROCYBCAR, companies and professionals will be trained to adapt to the regulatory and technical changes imposed by UNECE/R155 and to understand the challenges posed by cybersecurity in modern vehicles
