The Audi Q3: Delivering High Technology to Fleets
For fleets, the Audi Q3 has it all—style, comfort, and technology at an affordable starting MSRP of $34,7001 for the base Premium model.
The compact SUV is designed for functionality at every level, and is particularly suited to fleets looking for a vehicle that both makes a statement and delivers the ability for employees to be productive and connected while out and about.
Inside and out, the Audi Q3 is loaded with technology that can make it an ideal option for hard-working executives and top sales performers alike.
In-Cabin Productivity
For fleets focused on in-cabin productivity, the Q3 is full of technology designed to help keep drivers connected and productive.
The MMI touch2 response puts the cutting edge onto a smooth surface. Directions are available with Google Earth satellite imagery3, and messages are available through an intuitive interface that replicates a standard smartphone. Entertainment options, including interfacing with a favorite playlist, is available via Apple CarPlay4 for compatible devices.
This technology is designed to help keep drivers focused on their primary task of driving. The Audi virtual cockpit plus jettisons traditional dials and gauges with a standard 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster or an available 12.3-inch high-resolution Audi virtual cockpit. Audi virtual cockpit gives drivers the luxury of seeing Google Maps mapping service, route guidance, and infotainment setting directly in the driver’s line of sight.
Fleets also have the option of adding a personal touch to the user interface. When searching for a destination, the available handwriting recognition in the MMI touch response helps make it easier to add information by hand.
Today’s world is more connected than ever, and employees who spend most of their time on the road for business need to have a way to get in touch and in the know. The Audi Q3 can deliver connectivity in a number of ways, including with:
- Enhanced navigation features from Google.
- Connections to the subscription-based Apple Music and Yelp to help improve the driving experience with a library of streaming music and can make entertaining clients more successful by picking the best eateries based on local restaurant reviews.
- The ability to equip the Q3 with an available Wi-Fi hotspot5 to help transform the SUV into a mobile, connected office to participate in meetings and handle projects from the convenience of a parked, comfortable vehicle, which is equipped with leather, heated seats as standard.
The available Audi connect PRIME6 and PLUS7 adds convenience and productivity features including: natural voice recognition and the subscription-based Amazon Alexa.
The myAudi App8 offers drivers insights and management ability of their Q3 from their compatible phone or other connected device, including:
- Remote vehicle access.
- Vehicle status, including fuel levels.
- Locate your Audi.
- Schedule maintenance.
- Full A-to-B guidance from a driver’s home or office to the business destination, including on-foot directions outside the vehicle.
- Set geofence boundaries.
Driver Assistance Technology
Technology on the Q3 isn’t only designed for comfort, convenience, and productivity. It also is designed to add confidence.
The Q3 is equipped with multiple cameras, radar, and sonar sensors that play integral roles in the available Driver Assistance9 features. These features can help alert drivers and passengers of activity around the vehicle.
Standard and available Driver Assistance features include:
- Audi pre sense basic and front with pedestrian detection.
- Audi side assist with rear cross traffic assist and lane departure warning.
- Audi adaptive cruise control with stop and go.
- Park steering assist.
In addition, four available wide-angle cameras help create a virtual view of the area surrounding the vehicle.
Delivering High Performance
At its heart, the Audi Q3 is a high-performance vehicle designed to get fleet drivers from A to B in a variety of conditions.
Available in three trim levels, Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige, the Q3 comes standard with a 45 TFSI (2.0T) engine that delivers 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to a standard Quattro all-wheel-drive transmission.
Audi drive select allows drivers to choose from five modes that fit driving style and road conditions, including Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Offroad10, and an individual setting that allows for personal customization. Each of these modes has its own settings for steering feel and throttle response.
Taken together, the Audi Q3 delivers a technology package that can’t be matched.
