{"id":4952,"date":"2020-04-04T17:12:51","date_gmt":"2020-04-04T15:12:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/advancedfleetmanagementconsulting.com\/eng\/?p=4952"},"modified":"2020-04-04T17:14:30","modified_gmt":"2020-04-04T15:14:30","slug":"dpd-takes-delivery-of-uks-largest-commercial-ev-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/advancedfleetmanagementconsulting.com\/eng\/2020\/04\/04\/dpd-takes-delivery-of-uks-largest-commercial-ev-order\/","title":{"rendered":"DPD takes delivery of UK\u2019s largest commercial EV order"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>DPD takes delivery of UK\u2019s largest commercial EV order<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">UK delivery company DPD has confirmed that it will take delivery of of 300 new electric Nissan e-NV200 vans by May 2020, in what is believed to be the largest single UK commercial EV van order to date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">DPD has been using the Nissan e-NV200 successfully for deliveries over the last 18 months, and the latest order will take DPD\u2019s electric fleet to 450 vehicles in total, with plans in place to exceed the firm\u2019s stated target of 500 EVs by the end of the year, making it the largest EV parcel delivery fleet in the UK.\u00a0 DPD is aiming for 10% of its van fleet to be electric in each of its 68 UK depots by that point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The Nissan e-NV200 can cover a WLTP-approved 124-187 miles on one charge and can be rapid charged to 80% in around 60 minutes, or to full in less than eight hours with a wall box. The e-NV200 boasts 4.2m2 load space and two sliding doors for easy access.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">The Nissan order is part of DPD\u2019s strategy to be a sustainable city centre delivery company.
