What is GPS ?<\/h2>\n

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is funded and controlled by U.S.Department of Defense (DOD). It\u00b4s a sattelite-based navigation system made with a network of 24 sattelites \u00a0with a geostacionary orbit around Earth.\u00a0This 24 satellites ensures that in any point of Earth there at least\u00a04 visible satellites.<\/p>\n

Why do we need GPS ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It\u00b4s the fastest way to reach a certain point or to give the distance and direction to that point. Also it\u00b4s the fastest way to localizate our position in a map.<\/p>\n

What can we get from GPS ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Position ( geographical coordinates), hours\u00a0at that localization, number of satellites that devide can\u00a0see, speed if we are moving and altitude.<\/p>\n

Aviation , navigation (sea or land ), fleet control,\u00a0mining, construction, recreation ( jogging, bike, geocaching), ….<\/p>\n
