FedEx plans to eventually incorporate 2,500 BrightDrops into its operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fedex.com\/en-us\/about.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\">FedEx Corp.<\/a> announced June 21 that it has received its first 150 electric delivery vehicles from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gobrightdrop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\">BrightDrop<\/a>, the technology startup from General Motors that is decarbonizing last-mile delivery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The delivery to FedEx of its first BrightDrops marks a critical milestone for the parcel delivery company as it plans to transform its parcel pickup-and delivery (PUD) fleet to all-electric, zero-tailpipe emissions by 2040, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.fedex.com\/newsroom\/fedex-continues-advancing-fleet-electrification-goals-with-latest-150-electric-vehicle-delivery-from-brightdrop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\">FedEx release<\/a>. The purchase also comes months after BrightDrop\u2019s commercialization of the Zevo 600 as the fastest vehicle to market in GM history. Powered by GM\u2019s Ultium Platform, the Zevo 600 is designed for last-mile deliveries, with an estimated range of up to 250 miles on a full charge.
