About half of Frito-Lay’s heavy-duty equipment runs on compressed natural gas. “As we continue to expand our portfolio into more electric vehicles, it’s just really neat to see how the private fleet industry is leaning more towards some of the alternative fuels.”

Equipment mileage

The average heavy-duty truck on a private fleet logged 91,500 miles in 2020, according to the 2021 report.
